God of My Everything

Posted on September 14, 2014 by Wes in An Inspirational Thought for Today

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.  Psalm 73:26

god of my everythingGod is greater than the greatest problems we will ever experience.  He is stronger than anything we will ever come up against.   He will never let go of us. His love will reach into your soul and refill the vacant space left dormant by your distance from Him, if you will just ask.

Oh, God of heaven, come and hem me in
Gather the pieces that are broken
Show me the wonder of You again
Oh, God of heaven

In all creation You call my name
In all the beauty that this world displays
Still I’m the one for whom Your heart aches
In all creation

And when the mountains shake
You are my God, You never change
And when the earth gives way
You are still God, You never change

God of my hope, God of my need
God of my pain that no one else will ever see
God of my healing, God of my strength
God who has always and will forever reign
God of my everything

Will you allow God the space in your heart He desires?  He has so much in store for you.  His reservoirs are overflowing.  He will gladly refill the parched soil of your heart with His peace and hope, if you will let Him.  Will you let Him?
