Psalm 145:4 One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.
I want to be one in this generation praising God for His mighty works. He is worthy of my praise and yours. Besides, scripture says if we keep quiet with our praise of Him, the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40). That would be interesting to literally see and hear.
Figuratively, creation declares His glory already. The star lit sky flickers the expanse of His design. The integrity of the earth through the gravitational hold and its orientation to the sun speak of God’s order and planning. The scent and painting of an estimated 300,000 species of flowering plants, the self cleansing biological and chemical process of sustaining crystal clear seas, and microscopic creatures creeping the planet and even living inside us all declare His infinite imagination and supremacy over all He spoke into existence.
I’m in awe of God’s creation and of His daily care of me. Count me in as one who speaks praise of Him. I’m thankful for the plan of redemption He put in place, and I’m compelled to curl up the corners of my mouth when I speak of His great love. I encourage you to talk of God’s glory and declare His goodness to others today. Be a rock of His creation speaking clearly and to this generation declaring His mighty acts.
Ring out praises due His name.
Blessings,
Wes
